An offer is the HR record of what you offered one applicant. The list shows the applicant, offer date, salary, and status.
Open the list
- In HR, under Recruitment, choose Job Offer.
- You should see the title Job Offers and New Job Offer.
- Columns are Applicant, Offer Date, Salary, and Status.
If you have none yet, you should see “No job offers yet” and “Send and manage offers before candidates join.” Choose New Job Offer on that empty state.
Add an offer
- Choose New Job Offer.
- You should see New Job Offer, with Job Applicant, Designation, Offer Date, Status, Salary Amount, and Terms. A section titled Offer Terms has columns Offer Term and Value / Description.
- Status is Awaiting Response, Accepted, Rejected, or Withdrawn. A new offer starts as Awaiting Response.
- Choose the applicant and an Offer Date, then choose Create Job Offer.
- You should see “Job Offer created.” The button changes to Save.
Record the reply
On a saved offer that is still awaiting a response, these buttons sit with Save:
- Mark Accepted. You should see “Job offer accepted.”
- Mark Rejected. You should see “Job offer rejected.”
- Cancel Offer. You should see “Job offer cancelled.”
After the offer is accepted, rejected, cancelled, or withdrawn, those three buttons leave the page. When status is Accepted, Start onboarding appears and opens a new Employee Onboarding record for that offer.
Update or remove one
- Open the row, or choose Edit on the row.
- Change the fields or the offer terms and choose Save. You should see “Changes saved.”
- To remove it, choose Delete on the row. The dialog title is Delete Job Offer, and the message is “Are you sure you want to delete this job offer? This action cannot be undone.” Confirm Delete.
If something looks wrong
- “Job Applicant, Offer Date are required” means those fields were empty. The offer is not created.
- “Action failed” after Mark Accepted, Mark Rejected, or Cancel Offer means the status did not change.
- “No changes to save” means you chose Save without editing.
- “Save failed. Your edits are still here.” The offer is not updated.
- “Job Offer not found” with Back to list means that offer is not on this company, or you cannot open it.
- Start onboarding appears only when the saved offer is Accepted.
The person on the offer is an applicant.
