This page is for managers. An On Duty request is an attendance request, not a clock check-in. It waits on Approvals, then Attendance, until you mark it Approved or Rejected.

  1. Open Approvals.
  2. Choose Attendance.
  3. Find the row whose reason is On Duty. It shows the person and the dates, and the mark is Waiting.
  4. Open Waiting and choose Approved or Rejected.

The person sends this from Time off, then Attendance, with Reason set to On duty, then Submit attendance. On Approvals, that reason shows as On Duty.

What you should see

The Attendance tab includes a count when someone is waiting. The row reads the dates, then On Duty, with Waiting.

Approved shows the notice Attendance request approved. Rejected shows Attendance request rejected. The row leaves this waiting list.

If something looks wrong

On duty is not a shift on the calendar and it is not pay. It is the reason on the waiting request.

If you do not see the row, open Attendance, not Leave or Shift claims. If the page says No attendance waiting, nobody is waiting.

See Review waiting attendance and Work from home.
