HR overview

HR is the home page for people operations. It shows a greeting, a few counts, shortcuts, and the areas you work in.

  1. In the sidebar, choose HR.
  2. Read the greeting, your name, and the counts for Employees, Open leave requests, and Departments.
  3. If the page says Finish setup to unlock the full workspace, choose the arrow next to Account or Company.
  4. Under Quick access, open the shortcut you need.
  5. Under Modules, open the area you need.
  6. To change this page for the whole company, choose Customize workspace on Modules. Drag a block to reorder it. Use the red X to hide a link. Choose Done customizing when you are finished.

What you should see

The greeting is Good morning, Good afternoon, or Good evening, followed by your name and role. Beside that are three counts: Employees, Open leave requests, and Departments.

Quick access is subtitled Most-used records and workflows. Modules is subtitled Browse by area. A Reports block, when it is showing, is subtitled Follow-up & planning views.

While you are customizing, the page says: Drag blocks to reorder. Use the red X to hide links. Changes save automatically for everyone in this company. Add shortcut opens Add featured shortcut. Add opens Add shortcut. Add module opens Add module block. Both shortcut dialogs say Choose a shortcut to show in quick access. Add module block says Restore a hidden module to the workspace.

You can also choose Reset to default while customizing, or Done customizing to leave.

If something looks wrong

Account and Company show only while that setup is still unfinished. When both are complete, the setup line is gone.

Quick access and Modules stay off the page when every shortcut and module is hidden. Choose Customize workspace, then Add shortcut, Add, or Add module to bring them back.

A warning beside your name means two-step authentication is not enabled.
