Employee portal

The employee portal is a person's own view: home, published schedule, availability, open shifts, and check-in. Managers still build the month on Assign shifts.

  1. Open Employee Portal under Shift & Attendance.
  2. On Home, use Check in when you start and Check out when you leave. See Check in and check out.
  3. Open Schedule for published shifts, time off, and holidays. Full schedule on the home card opens the same page.
  4. Open Availability to mark Preferred, Available, or Can't work. See Availability.
  5. Open Open shifts and choose Claim when a posted shift still needs coverage. See Open shifts.
  6. Open Time off, then Attendance, to send a Work from home or On duty request. Open Approvals, then Attendance, when you review someone else's request. See Review attendance.
  7. Open Requests to ask for a Shift change, Extra hours, or a Swap or offer.

What you should see

Home shows a greeting and, when the time clock is on, Time clock with Check in or Check out. After check-in the chip says Checked in at. After check-out it says Checked out at. The day line can still say you are not scheduled.

Schedule shows published shifts. Before the month is published, home can say HR hasn’t published this schedule yet.

Approvals lists Leave, Shift claims, and Attendance. Attendance shows No attendance waiting when nobody is waiting.

If something looks wrong

Check in is missing when the time clock is off for you. Use the clock station only when a shared screen is at the desk, and confirm before a punch is recorded.

If you do not see Approvals, this portal is the employee view. A person who also works in HR can open HR desk.

If home says No employee profile, an HR record is not linked to this login yet.
