This page is for managers. Keep Clock station open on a shared screen. The code on that page changes on its own. Opening the page does not clock anyone in.

  1. Open Clock station under Shift & Attendance, or from the Shift & Attendance card, and leave that page on the desk screen.
  2. Leave the current code on screen. The chip counts down, then the code refreshes.
  3. The person scans the code that is on the screen now, enters the email on their profile, and confirms on the page.

A photo of an old code will not work. Scanning the code does not clock anyone in until they confirm.

What you should see

The page is titled Clock station. The note says to keep the page open at the desk, that the code stays valid until it refreshes, that a photo of an old code will not work, and that scanning does not clock anyone in until they confirm.

The chip says New code in and a number of seconds. When the count is low, the chip changes color. At zero it says Refreshing, then a new code appears.

Print is on the page if you need a paper copy of this screen. The code on paper expires when the screen refreshes.

If something looks wrong

If the clock cannot load, the page says Could not load the clock-in code. Leave the page open and wait for the next refresh.

If the person sees that the code expired, they scan the code that is on the desk now.

If they are already checked in, the next confirm checks them out, including after midnight.

People who are already signed in can check in from home. The person at the desk follows Confirm a clock-in.
