An interview is the HR record for one scheduled conversation with an applicant. The list shows the applicant, round, scheduled time, and status.
Open the list
- In HR, under Recruitment, choose Interview.
- You should see the title Interviews and New Interview.
- Columns are Applicant, Round, Scheduled, and Status.
If you have none yet, you should see “No interviews yet” and “Schedule interviews and keep feedback in one workflow.” Choose New Interview on that empty state.
Schedule an interview
- Choose New Interview.
- You should see New Interview, with Job Applicant, Round, Scheduled At, Duration (minutes), Meeting Link, Calendar Synced At, Status, Feedback Status, Rating, and Feedback. Duration starts at 60. Status starts as Scheduled. Feedback Status starts as Pending.
- Status is Scheduled, Completed, Cancelled, or No Show. Feedback Status is Pending or Submitted.
- A section titled Interviewers has a column named Interviewer.
- Choose the applicant and a Scheduled At time, then choose Create Interview.
- You should see “Interview created.” The button changes to Save.
Sync the interview to a calendar
- Open a saved interview that has Scheduled At filled in.
- Choose Sync to Calendar. If it was synced before, the button reads Re-sync Calendar.
- You should see “Synced to Google,” “Synced to Outlook,” “Synced to Google & Outlook,” or “Calendar sync finished.” Calendar Synced At updates on the form.
Sync to Calendar stays off until Scheduled At has a time.
Update or remove one
- Open the row, or choose Edit on the row.
- Change the time, interviewers, or feedback and choose Save. You should see “Changes saved.”
- To remove it, choose Delete on the row. The dialog title is Delete Interview, and the message is “Are you sure you want to delete this interview? This action cannot be undone.” Confirm Delete.
If something looks wrong
- “Job Applicant is required” means the applicant was empty. The interview is not created.
- “Calendar sync failed” means the calendar was not updated. The interview stays as it was. Check Scheduled At, then choose Sync to Calendar again.
- “No changes to save” means you chose Save without editing.
- “Save failed. Your edits are still here.” The interview is not updated.
- “Interview not found” with Back to list means that interview is not on this company, or you cannot open it.
- “Could not delete interview” means the row is still there.
The person on the interview is an applicant, usually tied to a job opening.
