Compliance record
An employee compliance record tracks one compliance item for one person, such as a work authorization or a training that expires. Open Employee Compliance under Lifecycle & Compliance.
- Click New Employee Compliance.
- Under Details, choose Employee and Compliance Type. Both are required. Employee Name and Category fill in and stay read-only.
- Under Status, set Status to Pending, In Progress, Complete, Expired, or Non-Compliant. Add Completion Date, Expiry Date, and Next Renewal Date when you have them.
- Under Documentation, enter Document Reference Number, Verified By, and Verified On when you have them.
- For an I-9, use Section 1 Complete (Employee), Section 2 Complete (Employer), and Section 3 Complete (Reverification). List A Document, List B Document, and List C Document sit in that same section.
- Click Create Employee Compliance.
This record does not create a salary slip. Attendance and clocking do not complete it.
What you should see
The list shows the employee. An empty list says “Organize employee compliances here. Create an employee compliance to get started.” After you save, the button changes from Create Employee Compliance to Save.
If something looks wrong
Create Employee Compliance names Employee or Compliance Type when one is empty.
Compliance Type only lists types already saved. If the list is empty, the record cannot be created until a compliance type exists.
Employee has no choices until people exist under Employee.
