Email the schedule
Assigned staff can be emailed when you publish. The switch is on unless you turn it off. The email is a link to their schedule. Publishing does not create pay.
- Open Assign shifts and choose Publish or Publish updates.
- Leave Email assigned staff on. The note says they get a link to their schedule. Turn the switch off only for a publish that should not send email.
- Choose Publish or Publish updates in the dialog. The month is not emailed until you press that button. The clip leaves the switch off and does not press it.
To keep email on for later months, open Settings, then Scheduling, and under Staff email leave Email assigned staff when you publish on. Choose Save email. You can still turn Email assigned staff off for a single publish.
What you should see
Email assigned staff matches the setting when the dialog opens. The company default is on.
After you publish with the switch on, assigned people can open their schedule from the email. The month chip reads Published.
If something looks wrong
Turning the switch without pressing Publish or Publish updates does not send anything, and staff still see the last published version, or nothing if the month is still a draft.
If the setting under Staff email is off, the publish dialog opens with Email assigned staff off. Turn it on in the dialog for this month, or turn Email assigned staff when you publish on and choose Save email.
