At ClearFit, we focus on making it easy for small businesses to find and hire the best people. We get asked all the time why we don’t intentionally call on big businesses to use our easy hiring product.
Certainly some large companies do use ClearFit, but the funny thing we’ve discovered is there’s really no upside to making something “easy” in large companies. Hmmm. PhDs and other hiring specialists make their living by keeping hiring employees and hiring assessments complex. Even outside of hiring … does SAP make things easy? No way, then their consultants couldn’t earn an income if it was easy for anyone to implement and operate their ERP systems.
So you can see why we’ve decided to focus on small business (note, check out our forthcoming blog on the killer app for small buiness). We think hiring is so critical that it should be a part of what everyone does, but to do that, it needs to be easy. One of the goals of this blog is to share stories about how to make hiring easy and more engaging for the companies that have worked hard enough to be rewarded with expanding their number of employees.
We will continue to share stories and advice about hiring and other things from successful entrepreneurs.
