A 1:1 meeting is a scheduled check-in between an employee and a manager, with an agenda and notes. Open **1:1 Meeting** under **Performance**. The list title is **1:1 Meetings**.

Columns are **Title**, **Employee**, **Manager**, **When**, and **Status**. Search with **Search 1:1 meetings...**. **Upcoming 1:1s** on [Performance](/hrms/performance/overview) opens this same list.

## Schedule a meeting

1. Choose **New 1:1 Meeting**.
2. Enter **Title**. That field is required.
3. Choose **Employee** and **Manager**.
4. Set **Scheduled At**.
5. Set **Status** to **Scheduled**, **Completed**, or **Cancelled**. A new meeting starts as **Scheduled**.
6. Enter **Agenda** and **Meeting Notes**.
7. Choose **Create 1:1 Meeting**.

The confirmation is **1:1 Meeting created**. The title on a saved meeting is the title you entered.

## After the meeting

Open the row (the edit control is labeled **Edit**). Update **Meeting Notes** and set **Status** to **Completed**, then **Save**. The confirmation is **Changes saved**.

**Save** with nothing new says **No changes to save**. If **Title** or **Employee** is empty, the message names the missing field and the meeting is not created. A failed save says **Save failed. Your edits are still here.**

On the employee record, **Connections** under **Performance** includes **1:1 meetings**. **+** starts one for that person. Upcoming meetings are marked **upcoming**.
