# HR tools

HR Tools is the list of bulk utilities for leave, attendance, and shifts. The page says “Bulk utilities for leave, attendance, and shifts.” Attendance and clocking do not create pay. None of these tools generate a salary slip.

1. On HR home, under Shift & Attendance, open **HR Tools**. The page title is HR Tools.
2. Open the tool you need.

- Leave Control Panel — Bulk allocate leave for employees.
- Upload Attendance — Import attendance from a CSV file.
- Employee Attendance Tool — Mark attendance for selected employees.
- Auto Attendance — Turn clock-ins into present/absent records from the roster.
- Shift Assignment Tool — Assign shifts, apply patterns, and process requests.
- Attendance records — Daily present and absent log.
- Timesheets — Hours submitted by staff.
- Change requests — Staff asked to change a shift.
- Shift Report — Coverage, hours, no-shows, and late punches for the month.
- All bulk tools — Leave, attendance, and shift actions in one place.

## What you should see

Each tool is a card with that title and the description above. Opening a card goes to that tool. A saved attendance row or a published shift still does not appear as a salary slip until someone opens **Generate Salary Slip** and clicks **Generate**.

## If something looks wrong

A card opens a list that is empty because there are no rows yet. Create the record in that tool, or return to **HR Tools** and choose a different card.

Shift Report and Change requests read the schedule and the punches already saved. They do not assign shifts. Use Assign shifts, or the Shift Assignment Tool, to change who is working.
