# Connected apps

Connected apps link email, calendar, files, and video meetings used with SmoothHiring. Open **Settings**, then **Connected Apps**. The page says “Connect your accounts for email, calendar, Drive, video meetings, and HR integrations.”

1. Find the app. Email lists Gmail and Outlook Mail. Google lists Google Calendar, Google Meet, and Google Drive. Microsoft lists Outlook Calendar and Microsoft Teams. Video meetings lists Zoom. HR lists BambooHR and Zoho Recruit when those are turned on for the company.
2. Click **Connect App**. Sign in on the screen that follows.
3. When the card already says Connected, use **Reconnect** to sign in again, or **Disconnect** to remove it.

BambooHR asks for Company Subdomain, then **Connect**. Zoho Recruit asks you to sign in with a Zoho login that has Recruit.

## What you should see

A connected card says Connected. Success notes include “Gmail connected successfully,” “Outlook Mail connected successfully,” “Google Calendar connected successfully,” “Google Meet connected successfully,” “Google Drive connected successfully,” “Outlook Calendar connected successfully,” “Microsoft Teams connected successfully,” “Zoom connected successfully,” “BambooHR connected successfully,” and “Zoho Recruit connected successfully.”

**Disconnect** asks “Are you sure you want to disconnect …? You will need to reconnect to use it again.” Confirm with **Disconnect**, or click **Cancel**. Zoom does not offer disconnect.

## If something looks wrong

“Could not start connection” or “Could not get authorization URL” means the sign-in screen did not open. Click **Connect App** again.

“Connection failed” appears when the sign-in does not finish. Zoho Recruit says “That Zoho login has no Recruit. Sign in with the Recruit admin org, then connect again.”

BambooHR says “Enter a valid BambooHR subdomain (letters, numbers, and hyphens only).”

“Failed to load integration status” means the cards did not load. Refresh **Connected Apps**.

“Failed to disconnect” means the app stayed connected. Open the disconnect dialog and click **Disconnect** again.
