This page is for managers. A **Work From Home** request is an attendance request, not a clock check-in. It waits on **Approvals**, then **Attendance**, until you mark it **Approved** or **Rejected**.

![Work from home](/files/help/manager-review-attendance-2.mp4 "A waiting attendance request can be Work from home.")

1. Open **Approvals**.
2. Choose **Attendance**.
3. Find the row whose reason is **Work From Home**. It shows the person and the dates, and the mark is **Waiting**.
4. Open **Waiting** and choose **Approved** or **Rejected**.

The person sends this from **Time off**, then **Attendance**, with **Reason** set to **Work from home**, then **Submit attendance**. On **Approvals**, that reason shows as **Work From Home**.

## What you should see

The **Attendance** tab includes a count when someone is waiting. The row reads the dates, then **Work From Home**, with **Waiting**.

**Approved** shows the notice **Attendance request approved**. **Rejected** shows **Attendance request rejected**. The row leaves this waiting list.

## If something looks wrong

A clock check-in and a work-from-home request are separate. The chip on employee home does not become this request, and this request does not become pay.

If you do not see the row, open **Attendance**, not **Leave**. If the page says **No attendance waiting**, nobody is waiting, including work from home.

See [Review waiting attendance](/hrms/attendance/review-waiting) and [On duty](/hrms/attendance/on-duty).
