This page is for managers. Waiting attendance requests are on **Approvals**, then **Attendance**. They include **Work From Home** and **On Duty**. Mark each one **Approved** or **Rejected**.

![Review waiting attendance](/files/help/manager-review-attendance-2.mp4 "Open Approvals, then Attendance, to see requests that are waiting.")

1. Open **Approvals** in the employee portal. The page says **Requests waiting on you.**
2. Choose **Attendance**. The tab includes a count when someone is waiting.
3. Read the row. It shows the person, the dates, and the reason, with **Waiting**.
4. Open **Waiting** and choose **Approved** or **Rejected**.

## What you should see

Each waiting row is one request. The reason on the row is **Work From Home** or **On Duty**. **Waiting** is the current mark.

After you choose **Approved**, the notice is **Attendance request approved** and that row leaves the waiting list. After **Rejected**, the notice is **Attendance request rejected**.

**Leave** and **Shift claims** are the other tabs on this page. Attendance is its own list.

## If something looks wrong

If you do not see **Approvals**, this portal is the employee view. Ask someone who reviews requests to open **Approvals**.

If the page says **No attendance waiting**, nobody is waiting. See [When nobody is waiting](/hrms/attendance/nobody-waiting).

Approving a request records the attendance reason. It does not create pay.

See [Work from home](/hrms/attendance/work-from-home), [On duty](/hrms/attendance/on-duty), [Approve attendance](/hrms/attendance/approve-attendance), and [Reject attendance](/hrms/attendance/reject-attendance).
