This page is for managers. Reject a waiting attendance request from **Approvals**. Rejecting records the decision. It does not create pay.

![Reject attendance](/files/help/manager-review-attendance-2.mp4 "A waiting request on Attendance can be marked Rejected.")

1. Open **Approvals**.
2. Choose **Attendance**.
3. On the row, open **Waiting**.
4. Choose **Rejected**.

## What you should see

The row shows the person, the dates, and **Work From Home** or **On Duty**, with **Waiting**.

After **Rejected**, the notice is **Attendance request rejected**. That request leaves the waiting list. When the list is empty, the page says **No attendance waiting**.

## If something looks wrong

On **Attendance**, the other mark is **Rejected**. **Leave** says **Denied**. **Shift claims** says **Declined**. Use the **Attendance** tab for this request.

If the list is empty, there is nothing to reject. See [When nobody is waiting](/hrms/attendance/nobody-waiting).

To accept it, see [Approve attendance](/hrms/attendance/approve-attendance).
